Dan Gelderloos
CAMP DIRECTOR - CALVIN COLLEGE
Coach Gelderloos has been at the helm of the men's and women's swimming teams at Calvin College since 1996. In 2002, Gelderloos took his men's team to a ninth place finish at the NCAA III Championships with a school-record total of 136.5 points. Since 2001, Gelderloos has helped the Calvin women's team win nine MIAA conference championships and to five top-10 finishes at the national championships from '05-'09.
At an individual level, he has helped Calvin swimmers achieve first place and runner-up finishes in the men's 100 butterfly in 2002, the women's 200 freestyle in 2004 and 2005, and the women's 50, 100 and 200 freestyle in 2006.
As a result of his success, Gelderloos has received the ASCA (American Swim Coaches Association) certificate of excellence five times in his career.
